Vacationing in Iowa

SOMEWHERE IN IOWA -- The great thing about vacationing in Iowa is that you don't have to worry about what you look like in a swimsuit.

Iowa looks a lot like where I grew up in Monroe County, Illinois, with white farm houses and lots of corn fields, but more of them. Nonetheless, it still feels like vacation in that we're someplace other than at home and don't have to do much of everything. My mother-in-law keeps us well fed and plenty of people to keep the baby entertained. Actually at his age he entertains most people.

So far we haven't done much of anything and that's the way it should be.
